Abstract: Iteration is a word that has its origin in the Latin term iteratio. Iterating is the act of repeating a process, to generate a sequence of results, with the aim of getting closer to a desired purpose or result. In the conference we will see several examples of iteration and review some applications, focused on obtaining fractals and on the investigation of discrete dynamics.
