The approximate Ramsey property of the finite dimensional normed spaces

We present the approximate Ramsey property of the finite dimensional normed spaces, and its non-commutative version. The proofs are based on the dual Ram- sey Theorem. As a byproduct of this and the metric Fraïssé theory, we give examples of extremely amenable groups, we compute the universal minimal flow of certain auto- morphism groups, and we provide a kind of “metric Ramsey degree” of matrices and grassmannians over the fields R.C..

Jordi López-Adad obtained his Undergraduate and Graduate degrees at Universitat de Barcelona, Spain. He has 25 research papers (among others, 3 Advances in Mathematics, 5 Journal of Functional Analysis, 2 Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2 Mathematische Annalen). More than 50 talks in international workshops /conferences.

Research position at the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (CSIC), Madrid, Spain. 2008-2016. visiting professor at Universidade de Sao Paulo (May 2014-April 2015).
