Analysis of CMS - RPC Muographies

Resumen:

The CMS-RPC system counts with a dedicated High Level Trigger stream in which low momentum muons are used for detector performance studies. Due to the high statistics present in this stream it is possible to perform high resolution efficiency maps, We are interested in study the efficiency maps of the RPC Chambers called muographies. Considering the data stored during 2010 and 2011, we present the analysis of the muographies, we contributed to software development of the RPC’s, with the data analyzed, we improved our understanding of the CMS detector performance.
